Quality Assurance Program

At Momentum, we build quality control into our Project Management Methodology, our culture, and our execution. Our approach to quality includes six fundamental actions for every project:

  1. Establish, Verify, and Validate Success Metrics and Client Expectations
    We ensure that Momentum, the Momentum Project Team, and the Client have a mutually agreed-upon set of project expectations, success metrics, and/or Service Level Agreements (SLAs) prior to commencing work.
  2. Provide Continuous Two-Way Communication
    We maintain comprehensive Communication Plans and RACI charts to ensure open and continuous communication throughout the length of each project.
  3. Use Industry Standards and Best Practices to Promote Consistency and Efficiency
    Since our inception, We have supported organizations by providing industry best practice services to support business and IT projects. Momentum maintains a variety of qualifications, certifications, and partnerships with industry best practice organizations.

    We strive for Continuous Process Improvement and that includes the regular review and update of our Quality Assurance Program.
  5. Maintain Organization and Document Control Measures
    We promote organization across all phases of a project to maintain historical knowledge and recall information efficiently. We are apt in a variety of document management tools and we maintain an extensive library of project tools and templates for quick insertion into the project. We always follow document control and naming conventions subscribed by our clients and will define conventions should the client not have an existing policy. All of this leads to our success in providing quality work and satisfied clients.
  6. Proactively Identify and Mitigate Risks / Issues
    We maintain a formal Risk Management Plan for all of our projects using a proven PMI-based strategy and template.

Contractual Obligations Director of Operations; Operations and Finance Department Monthly Momentum’s Operations Team provides Contract Management for all Momentum contracts. The Operations Team will also provide all Accounts Payable/Receivable activities.
Quality Assurance Program Monitoring Program Manager and Vice President Monthly Momentum’s Program Manager and Vice President will regularly monitor the Quality Assurance Program to ensure that it maintains quality checks on all project and contract related components.
Resources Vice President of Service Delivery Formal Check-in at least Monthly Momentum’s Vice President of Service Delivery is responsible for ensuring all resources meet their stated objectives and provides quality work to the client.
Deliverable Review Program Manager; Deliverable Review Board As Required The Program Manager will use the Momentum Deliverable Review Board (DRB) to ensure quality of all deliverables.
Risk and Issue Management Program Manager Weekly The Program Manager will continuously update and monitor a formal Risk Management Plan and will communicate risks for potential impacts to project scope, cost, schedule, or other delay on at least a weekly basis.
