Active Involvement within Communities
One of the founding principles of Momentum’s corporate philosophy includes active involvement within the communities in which we work and reside. We strive to give back to our community through various donations, volunteering efforts and non-profit organization support.
While we have consistently supported the community at large since our founding in 1998, Momentum launched a formalized volunteering program called “Sharing our Success” as part of our ten-year anniversary in 2008. Through our Sharing our Success program, Momentum continually supports local organizations including:
- Special Olympics
- Briana’s Hope
- Suits to Careers
- Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland & Perry Counties
- UPMC Pinnacle Bailey House
- Caitlin’s Smiles
Employee involvement is encouraged for anyone who would like to participate. Employees have the option to be the contact person and the coordinator for each organization. In addition, we give the opportunity for employees to donate items/supplies needed or help by providing support at events.
Momentum employees are encouraged to get involved by leading or participating in volunteering events. Momentum provides monetary donations and grants time-off for employees to pursue personal outreach efforts and charitable program support.
