The 2014 Dress For Success Power Walk was a complete success.  The event raises money for Dress For Success South Central Pennsylvania.  Momentum once again sponsored the Food Tent featuring healthy snacks and drinks for all participants to enjoy.  The Power Walk consisted of a 5K walk/run at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

The Power Walk is a world wide fundraiser which promotes the Health & Wellness initiative of the Professional Women’s Group while raising funds and visibility for Dress For Success.  DFS empowers women to make healthy choices in work and in life and the Power Walk plays a crucial role in ensuring that women understand the need for a well balanced lifestyle.

Momentum supports DFS of South Central PA as part of their “Sharing Our Success” program.  Started in 2008, the program is a way to give back to the local community.  Dress For Success South Central PA is one of the chosen 2014 charities along with Briana’s Hope/Fight Against Pediatric Cancer, the PinnacleHealth Bailey House, and Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties.
