Momentum, Inc. shared its generosity this week by donating to the Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties (DVSCP). Momentum donated a monetary contribution along with an abundant amount of supplies for the DVSCP emergency shelter for domestic violence victims. As one of the company’s chosen charities for 2014, Momentum donated the money in addition to donating a vast supply of clothing, baby items, household items, cleaning supplies, and daily necessities to help contribute to the shelter the items that would be given to domestic violence victims. The DVSCP relies on donations to provide lodging and services free of charge to individuals who come to the shelter.

The Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties is dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence live life violence free. In addition to a twenty-four hour toll free hotline and counseling services, the most important component of their services is an emergency shelter for domestic violence victims. The free shelter accommodates any family with basic necessities. The shelter is a safe and comfortable option for domestic violence victims to remain secure in a confidential location.

Momentum raises money and awareness for the Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties as part of their “Sharing Our Success” campaign. The company started the campaign in 2008 as a way to give back to the local community. The Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland and Perry Counties is one of the chosen 2014 charities along with Briana’s Hope, Dress For Success South Central PA, the PinnacleHealth Bailey House, and more.
