CAMP HILL, PA - Beginning this fall, Penn State Harrisburg's Continuing Education Department will offer a new Certificate in Business Analysis program. The class will give professionals a thorough understanding of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®), the collection of best practices maintained by the International institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®), and is one of the steps towards becoming a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®).

The curriculum and instructors for the course are provided by Camp Hill-based Momentum, Inc. Momentum is the only IIBA Endorsed Education Provider in central Pennsylvania, and has three CBAPs on staff.

The course has a total of seven sessions beginning in November, 2009 and ending in February, 2010, and provides 56 hours (or 5.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)) of instruction. Single enrollment is $1,925. Multiple enrollments are $1,625 each.

"The BA Certificate program provides a structured way to immerse new and experienced Business Analysts into a common Business Analysis approach as embodied in the BABOK," said Emily Iem, CBAP and one of the class instructors from Momentum.
