What is Business Analysis?
According to the International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA™), business analysis is the set of tasks, knowledge, and techniques required to identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems. Solutions often include a systems development component, but may also consist of process improvement or organizational change.

Momentum’s professionals can also perform structured mentoring including feedback in the form of a Mentoring Outcomes document. By applying the concepts discussed in the training to the identification, analysis, and documentation of current business processes, the training participants will have an opportunity to ask personalized questions as they are encountered. Mentoring may also include a skills assessment to measure the value of the services provided as well as identify next steps in the business analysis division maturation.
Performing BA Activities
To perform analysis, Momentum works as a liaison among your organization’s stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. Our business analysts understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements, and they recommend solutions that enable your organization to achieve its goals.
