What is Customized Training?

Customized Training is specialized organizational training that is not open to the public. It is geared towards employers and their employees’ workforce development, efficiency, productivity, job retention, and overall success in the workplace.

This type of training generally takes place on-location at the business site and is specifically based on the unique needs and wants of the contracting organization or business.

Momentum's Methodology

Momentum works with clients to develop and train their employees in order to create business results. We help them leverage their company’s competitive advantage with training that aligns business objectives, specific business processes and their organization’s unique training goals.

Whether you are a team member charged with supervising front-line employees or an executive in a leadership role, Momentum can design a custom training program to address your organization’s specific needs and interests and bring it on-site. Training can be based on an offering found in our catalogue or be a completely customized program.

Sure, you can choose from a wide variety of off-the-shelf, cookie-cutter courseware. You can even outsource to production houses claiming custom courseware capabilities. But isn’t learning about more than just courseware? Your training objectives are as unique as your business and its culture, and it is time to implement a learning program appropriate to your goals. Our proven assessment tools uncover crucial business skill gaps that may be holding your business back.

Momentum works with you to:

  • Identify training goals, success criteria, and project closure activities
  • Establish a tiered curriculum with both general and detailed classes
  • Identify employees to be trained, a schedule and registration process, training locations, and resources for classroom logistics
  • Identify the review and sign-off process for training development
  • Develop, review and approve a template for all training materials
  • Develop and implement an internal awareness program
  • Identify training pilot participants and document pilot expectations
  • Establish a training database and provisions for access to it
  • Develop and document a pre-training assessment tool and a post-training assessment methodology
  • Establish a Training Help Desk and post-training support programs
  • Design and develop a job performance aid
  • Identify on-going Knowledge Management practices
