What is Strategic Planning?
Strategic Planning is the discipline committed to developing and using a roadmap / checklist to guide a company’s strategic initiatives. It often times encompasses Information Technology (IT) solutions. Strategic Planning ultimately results in processes that directly improve operational efficiencies, market responsiveness, and customer value.

Effective Information Technology planning begins with the development of a Strategic Vision for technology integration in the organization.
