The Pennsylvania Department of Banking (DOB) contracted with Momentum, Inc. to accomplish a two-phase performance metrics, strategic planning, and facilitation project.
During Phase 1, Momentum provided DOB with strategic planning services in the form of a strategic roadmap used to identify and institute performance-based metrics and measures. A major part of this effort was to facilitate several strategic stakeholder sessions (using the SMART construct: Specific, Measurable, Agreed-upon, Realistic, and Time-framed) to accomplish the following objectives:
- Identify seven (7) to ten (10) outcome based measures that align with the mission of the agency
- Agree upon the methods of maintaining and reporting these measures identifying the "owner" of these measures
The second phase of the project included hosting two performance metrics conference sessions for 25 participants, respectively, to present Phase 1 Objectives and strategic planning findings and to further education about high-level performance-metrics ideology.
